Located 12 miles offshore of the eastern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, Cozumel is the largest island in the Mexican Caribbean. Cozumel is approximately 30 miles (48km) long and ten miles (16 km) wide. The highest point on the island is 45 feet above sea level.
The tropical island of Cozumel is surrounded by white coral sand beaches separating the island from the magnificent blue waters that offer world class diving, snorkeling and fishing.
The island offers many attractions beyond the waters edge. There are Mayan ruins to explore, jungle tours, horseback riding, Jeep and dune buggy tours, golf, beach combing, storefronts and plenty of restaurants to sample the islands native flavors.
From Cozumel, you can readily access the treasures of the Yucatan Peninsula such as Cancun, Xcaret, Tulum, Chichenitza, Isla Mujeres and many more.
